Situated at the foot of the Giza Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum is the world's largest archaeological museum dedicated to a single civilisation. Inaugurated in 2023 after decades of construction, it houses over 100,000 artefacts spanning seven thousand years of ancient Egyptian history — chief among them the complete treasures of the boy-pharaoh Tutankhamun, reunited in their entirety for the first time.
